Registering new GED students NOW!

Our vision is to equip adult learners with knowledge, abilities, and credentials necessary for success. Our students gain the skills needed to improve employment opportunities by increasing basic education; digital literacy; job readiness expertise; and speaking, reading, and writing English. In addition, we partner with area training providers by offering academic support to students who are seeking to earn workforce-preparation credentials.

We are a proud partner of #MoveAheadWithAdultEd, a national campaign enrolling adult learners into career training programs that equip them with skills that lead to jobs paying a family-sustaining wage. The campaign targets the millions of Americans who need to reskill or upskill to re-enter the workforce.

Explore your opportunities with Region 5 Adult Education!

National External Diploma Program

The National External Diploma Program is a way for students over 18 to earn an adult high school diploma. Clients work independently online, on their own schedules, to show knowledge by completing assignments in 10 competency areas instead of taking timed tests. If you need a high school diploma but don't do well on timed tests, the NEDP might be for you.
